Bad press for BTC is ganging up and preventing the surge

Bitcoin / United States DollarCoinbase

詳細

Markets don't fulfill wishes, they accidentally create fortunes. It been a difficult 24 hours due to

  • south korea btc hack / 72M theft
    bch added to gdax
bad press by bitcoin.com guy, puppet of r ver
what else? oh, forgot only the CME coming aboard

This perfect storm is stallling price hike we all see forthcoming. An awesome distraction.

The last time BCH reared its ugly mug, it lived for a day then crashed. Already on GDAX it's crashed back to earth. 9500? How about 3,600... The sell wall for bch was epic, and the same wall awaits for the bchbtc open

the net effect of cboe is positive -- it paves the way for 10s of billions in institutional money. If you are a fund pro, you are pressured to make a crypto solution or else people will choose between hundreds of new crypto funds, which are making more money in a week than your stock index will all year.

this period will show:
bch doesn't matter because btc has claimed hearts and minds
try to convince wall st people of why bch matters -- it failed last time, and it will fail again

But Korea needs to get its sack together, invalidate those stolen BTC coins like in the ethereum hack, and figure out if they want a piece of this bitcoin thing, otherwise it's moving ahead

This looks like politics, belief and emtions more than anything else. Even if BTC ends up going up again, which I am almost sure it will, the arguments presented here are very poor and mostly "bch is evil". Which just has no place in trading.

@beentold, Precisely, thats why i outlined the facts. I dont trade with emotion. I have no "loyalty" to any coin. I ride any of them up on profits and sell when im ready to take the profits. The only coin i show any emotion towards is ripple, and i hate it with a passion. Only because Ive lost on trades 3x.. and then missed the big rally because i refused to buy in. LOL.

@beentold, just so it's written down somewhere, I am open to BCH (just like satoshi himself, craig wright). I guess it's gamemanship that divides bch and btc. I wish we had only one -- one coin to rule them all.

Sorry bro, "Bitcoin core" days are numbered. Scaling/ Transactions isnt bad press, its fact. BIG difference. Stolen tethers, i mean BTC, bad press. But still a hard fact that cannot be undone.

@Arvin_Darred, If everyone started using Segwit addresses this issue would be resolved. BCH doesn't have that problem because nobody uses it yet.
Arvin_Darred
@getbits, Kind of rhetorical, but may i ask why no one uses the segwit addresses?

Invalidate stolen BTC? That's difference between BTC and ETH, protocol is protocol, you must obey it or create a fork.
There's nothing in the protocol to bail out exchange (BTW - it's immoral).
