Hm, I’m not sure where I stand on BTC. Looks like a push from a bullish cypher could have already happened, with an impending drop. Then again, I’ve a bit biased as I’ve been waiting for a bigger drop for a while. My idea I updated early May but original published in April.

@ZenMode, yeah I trade it but it’s a love-hate relationship that I have to continually rationalize for to my wife. My first experience was a 70k profit potential loss from a 6k swing trade. Just had our son, didnt set a stop loss. Long story short, went to 70k down to 4k overnight. Despite some decently accurate calls I have since only been able to break even. Significant gains continue to come from the market, but I do believe there’s a lot of potential in crypto. I just haven’t mastered it yet.

@Teklologist, wow. Some of the lessons us traders are forced to learn are pricey as hell. To this day I'm still swallowing my amzn play, and that was just a 1/3rd of 75k. My wife was not too happy that day. "You could have paid off my school loans and still have had money left over!" No worries tho, its a journey not a sprint. And the journey is fun.

@ZenMode, oh you have no idea. I was in a position to sell at +50k. My wife said something like ‘wtf are you waiting for, that’s what some ppl make in a year.’ I said, ‘boo, trust me, I’m expecting another +10k easily.’ Next thing our son, 5 month old, starts crying, I go to calm him, do father shit, fall asleep. I wake up in terror, see my exit was hit and I hadn’t set any limits. I tried to avoid topic with wife. Made it 2 days before she asked. No way to explain how fast some trades move. She still can’t comprehend how I was set to make 50k that night but was down 2k by morning. Trading alts is akin to leveraging inverse etfs. Lesson learned.

@Teklologist, FYI the 70k comes from the ‘coin’ having risen to where I could’ve made ~70k opposed to 50k before the drastic drop.
