It may be stripped for parts, and sold to China to be refurbished! Nah, GE is vital to U.S. interests so it'll probably be the usual bailout propaganda - TOO BIG TO FAIL!
Anyway, we may never make it to Grand Supercycle Wave 5 top. I doubt private equity firms would ever get involved; how much more debt would they be able to heap onto GE's books? However, still lots of scenarios possible till 2050 so be sure to check back after 34 years =p
