The Anchored VWAP (aVWAP) indicator ties VWAP calculations to a specific price bar chosen by the trader. Anchored VWAP allows you to specify the price bar where calculations begin, making it easy to see whether the bulls or bears have been in charge since a very specific point in time. The starting price bar that is chosen generally marks a shift in market psychology, such as a significant high or low, earnings, news, or other announcements. The Anchored VWAP line is charted using price and volume data from that significant event onward.
This indicator plots up to 4 aVWAP lines in the chart.
Features: - plot up to 4 aVWAP lines - custom start date of aVWAP - custom line color - optional label of starting price bar - optional custom resolution
Thank you for this - I like the flexibility setting it up. I do sometimes forget to update the calendar to reflect what your script is mapping out for me.

This indicator is great, but it is possible to have the current date automatically? otherwise you have to change tha date every morning on every chart. Yes im an intraday trader! :-)

Just wondering why we cant use this logic to anchor the pivot points based on customizable left and right bars calculation. Anyways the point where we want to anchor we just enter the date. So if we get the time variable when the pivot was found, cant we find the anchor from that point.

I love the anchored VWAP, but why are my lines so choppy and sharp, i dont have smooth lines like in your chart

really thanks man....the thing needs to be understood is whales come according to vwap of CHINA,LONDON and NEWYORK market times. if we can understand their patterns, we can have a good grip over intraday

@M0rty, thank you for sharing! Very useful! Would you be able to add an option to also plot standard deviations from VWAP?

I've had a similar idea for a long time but lack the means to code it.
Make a AVWAP guppy that anchors to the highest volume days in x period.
1 week 3 months 1 month 1 year and the ability to swap between them
