MACD frontSide backSide + TTM Squeeze by bangkokskater

SANTOS / TetherUSBinance

詳細

Dark Mode is enabled by default for black theme
disable Dark Mode for white theme

MACD frontSide backSide
===================

an elegant, much better way to use MACD
for trend following momentum ( aka momo) style

MACD with default settings of 12/26 smoothing of 9
✔️ but without histogram
✔️ only has MACD and signal "lines"

green = frontSide momentum impulse
take longs only

red = backSide momentum impulse
take shorts only

black area = exit (once green or red is no longer showing)
or keep holding till next bigger TP

TTM Squeeze
===================

white dots = incoming pump / dump (monitor for entry)

PS: credits to John Carter's TTM Squeeze & Greeny for PineScript adaptation

this really helps, thank bro!
do you know how to use relative volume?

@makemoneybysitting, Good it helps out. Wish I had started out looking at markets this way (frontSide vs backSide). Yeah I use rVol for monitoring certain bullish coins of the day. But often times, the mind would get so focused on daytrading that I forget to check the rVol % near the Volume indicator (I built it in). But it's better to refer to a list of coins with highest rVol, but in Trading View, there's 30-40 coins limitation in a single table, no way around it, so it's whatever... referring to Top Change % would solve this problem. On Binance it's updated in real time, but not in Trading View (you gotta click it all the time, not practical). I have a script that displays top 12 coins sorted by Change % so I don't miss any runners in Binance... otoh, I do have yet another custom algo/indicator that alerts whenever a coin is only starting to run... but that'll require setting 200+ alerts on all USDT Spot coins...

NOTE: on the MACD frontSide backSide + TTM Squeeze by bangkokskater, like all other indicators, there's data fitting issue cause market's random. Otherwise it'll be too easy. Sure there'll be slightly early / late entries / exits but that goes to any other indicators for different market conditions n different timeframes even. But better than missing out on a big impulse move. I would suggest entering on a rangeBreak (current bar high is higher than previous bar's high or entire range's high when green is on), rather than the "trendline diagonal" approach. Horizontal rangeBreak is better, altho slightly delayed. Hope that helps.

@bangkokskater, so good to read you, thanks for sharing your content.. i will look for the script that displays top 12... the other one is also important.. so you dont miss the first move... its good to know you daytrade with cryptos.. do you use futures? because sometimes high frq trading algo hurt the position in futures.. maybe in stocks its easier, i dont know that... i use your macd as a complement of vwap and larry wiliams trend.. its realy my combo... do you trade on 1min tf?
thanks for helping bro!!
