Nasdaq or US Composite Total Volume

NASDAQ Composite IndexNASDAQ

詳細

Because no NASDAQ composite index or NYSE composite index provide data volume, this script intends to use the NASDAQ Composite total volume index, index ticker : TVOLQ, or the NYSE Composite total volume index, index ticker : TVOL, as a classical volume indicator on chart.
How tu use : in the input tab choose youe prefered SMA lenght and the volume' index ticker you want to display. TVOLQ for the NASDAQ Composite total volume or TVOL for the NYSE Composite total volume.
On chart, choose to display the indicator in a new pane.

リリースノート

The indicator will appear directly in a new pane without any action on your part.

When I add the indicator, somehow it modifies my main chart, rather than add a sub chart. Do you know how I can fix this? Cheers

@xixiaobo, Hi, it's because the script use a classical ticker as a volume indicator. On chart you have to choose to display the indicator on a new pane. Cheers.

Thank you Traderbot.... I wonder why noone ever bothered to code it during all these years TV has been online... Unless if the obv is not that helpful ...it shudnt complex to code, so maybe its not very helpful... what do you think?

@zimman, Hi, OBV is a key trending indicator. It's a perfect indicator for momentum and trend. On TV, OBV is working with volume data provided with the ticker. Because on every single Nasdaq index there's no data volume provided, there is no OBV for Nasdaq index... I don't have have any time at the moment, but defenitively I'd like to work on it.

hi, do you know if there is a public or private script for OBV of nasdaq 100....... Something that takes individual volumes and their weight to calculate true obv of NDX
