HTF Candle Dividers
Draws vertical lines on your lower-timeframe chart marking exactly where each higher-timeframe candle begins and ends, so you always know where you are inside the bigger candle.
WHAT IT DOES
• Plots a vertical line at the open of each higher-timeframe candle.
• Shows the current HTF candle plus a set number of previous ones (default 3) — older lines are removed automatically to keep the chart clean.
• The space between two lines is one complete higher-timeframe candle.
HOW TO USE IT
Sit on any lower timeframe (e.g. 5m) and pick the higher timeframe you want mapped out from the dropdown: H6, H4, M90, H1, M30 or M15. Switch between them any time in the settings — no code editing.
SETTINGS
• Higher timeframe — H6 / H4 / M90 / H1 / M30 / M15
• Candles back — how many completed HTF candles to keep marked (default 3)
• Line color, width and style (solid / dashed / dotted)
Lines are drawn at the HTF candle open using bar time, so they line up correctly on any chart timeframe below the one selected.
