XRP followed a fractal from a March '20 "capitulative" move until November '20 which was the first step to XRP's breakout move vs USD. That fractal lasted 245 days.
Currently, on the XRP/ETH price chart we see a strikingly similar fractal playing out from a "capitulative" move at the beginning of December '21 until mid September '22 which was XRP's breakout move vs ETH. This fractal lasted 284 days.
From the breakout move in '20, XRP rose 208% in 11 days vs USD From the breakout move currently in '22, XRP has risen 76% vs ETH and day 8 just began about 2 hours ago.
1. ETH FUD going around the market after "the merge" 2. All of the hype and speculation about the Ripple vs SEC lawsuit
If you look towards the end of '20, XRP/USD eventually did stall out and suffered the lawsuit shortly after this 200%+ burst to the upside. It did, however, manage to reach about $1.96 even with the SEC's lawsuit looming.
XRP has been able to flip ETH by market cap in the past so I wouldn't take anything off the table.
