Microsoft, Salesforce and Oracle Named Top Software Picks for 2026

Evercore on Monday highlighted Microsoft MSFT, Salesforce CRM and Oracle ORCL as its top enterprise software picks for 2026, citing sustained AI adoption and infrastructure demand.

Oracle and Salesforce shares climbed about 2% after the call, while Microsoft was little changed. Evercore said the software "infrastructure" trade should remain intact as AI adoption broadens next year.

The firm also highlighted Intuit INTU, Snowflake SNOW and Samsara IOT as favored ideas. Analysts said these names pair secular AI exposure with clearer paths to durable revenue.

Evercore flagged Oracle's more idiosyncratic risks, pointing to elevated debt levels and close ties to OpenAI as factors investors must weigh. Still, the bank said demand from hyperscalers should support Oracle's enterprise AI rollout.

On Salesforce, Evercore noted improving momentum around the company's AI strategy and said its low free-cash-flow multiple increases the stock's risk-reward profile.

The research note frames 2026 as a year where execution, not just AI excitement, will separate winners from laggards.
