⦿ This indicator is an advanced version of existing indicator QE Pro.
⦿ This indicator displays all the features of QE Pro and the Price Bands for stocks listed in NSE, India.
⦿ As of this date, Tradingview doesn't provide NSE India stock's price band in the platform. With the help of Tradingview Pine Seeds this data is created daily and populated in the Tradingview Charts.
⦿ Price bands set the limits within which a stock's price can fluctuate. For example, a 5% price band means the price of the security can increase or decrease by up to only 5% from its closing price the previous day. While the limit for decreasing prices is adjusted daily, the limit for increasing prices is reviewed and possibly adjusted bimonthly, provided certain specific criteria are met. Stocks that have derivatives based on them (Futures & Options) are not subject to price bands.
⦿ This indicator helps traders to understand that price will not increase or decrease beyond the given Price Band limit.
Features
⦿ The current price band (20%, 10%, 5%) is displayed in a corner. Derivative stocks have no bands & are displayed as an ‘FnO’ label. Stocks that have never had a history of price band changes are displayed as 20% with a black background.
⦿ Price band history is shown as the band % at the relevant candle.
⦿ The circuit limit values are displayed above (upper circuit) & below (lower circuit) the last candle. This is optional and can be disabled in the indicator settings.
Bonus
⦿ All subscribers will get access to a Telegram group where the daily price band change list will be provided in a format easily transferable to a Tradingview watchlist.
⦿ First 100 subscribers will get access to a Telegram group where all the new IPO stock names will be posted a day before listing and on the day of listing.
Dependency:
The script uses the Pine Seeds service to import custom data hosted in a GitHub repository and accesses it via TradingView as the frontend. So, the number of bar data appearing on charts is fully dependent on the amount of historical data available. Any error or omission, if there, is a reflection of the hosted data, & not that of TradingView.
Limitations:
Such data has some limitations, as it can only be updated at EOD (End-of-Day), & only daily-based timeframes can be applied to such data. Irrespective of the intraday changes, only the last saved value on the chart is seen. So, it's best to use this script as EOD, rather than intraday.
