Multi-Exchange Volume (30 Tickers) by kurtsmock + BV + rVolauthor: kurtsmock
Fully Customizable ticker set. Up to 30 Tickers. Bitcoin set as default.
-- IMPORTANT NOTE: --
30 Exchanges are a lot. It can take a while to load. You can fully customize this indicator to your liking. Here's how:
1. Load indicator
2. Open Settings
3. Uncheck the switch box for exchanges you want unincluded
4. At the bottom of the settings menu click "Defaults" and hit "Save as Default"
5. To turn them all back on, hit "Reset Settings" in that same "Defaults" menu and click "Save as Default" again.
Also, you don't have to use this with Bitcoin. This works with any asset, just change the ticker in the settings.
There's a lot going on with this indicator so the following is descriptions and instructions to help you better understand what's going on here. Thanks!
Goal:
- To provide a mechanism for assets on multiple exchanges to have their volume evaluated together
Edge:
- Having better and more complete volume information
Notes:
- The Default Exchanges for this indicator are highest volume bitcoin exchanges, but may contain "fake volume"
- Indicator is set for Bitcoin by default. However, you can change the tickers to reflect any asset you want
////// rVol //////
Goal:
- To understand how much volume is being executed relative to the same candle on previous days/periods
Edge:
- Higher rVol implies higher volatility and market interest.
- High rVol = higher than average volume . Markets move on volume so higher than average volume indicates increased market activity/volatility
- rVol is an indirect measure of active or anticipated volatility
Definitions:
- rVol: The volume of a period compared to the Average Volume of that same period in past sessions
- Important to note it does NOT add up the last 10 (default) candles, but rather the last 10 candles at session intervals.
- Example:
-- On a Tuesday, 1h chart it will add up the last ten Tuesday, 9:00 am candles, not including the current, active candle.
-- It then averages those lookback candles.
-- It then plots the percentage relationship between the most recent candle and the average of the lookback candles
-- Avg Vol of Lookback candles = 5000,
-- Volume of most recent candle = 4000: Output = rVol = 80:
-- Volume of most recent candle was 80% of the average volume in the 9 am time period of the last ten Tuesdays in the 9 am, 1h period
Notes:
- rVol does not add current candle volume into lookback sum. So, you set lookback to be: (not including the current day)
- rVol is on a switch. So, if you want to see rVol instead of volume, hit the switch in the settings
- If you want to see both, load 2 instances of the indicator.
////// Better-er Volume //////
Goal:
To Identify:
- When a candle closes at the highest volume * range relative to the lookback period and close > open
- When a candle closes at the highest volume * range relative to the lookback period and close < open
- When a candle closes at the highest volume / price relative to the lookback period
Edge:
- Identifies beginnings of price expansion, climax of price expansion, breakouts, pivots, and take profit points on the volume chart
Notes:
- Based generally on Barry Taylor's "Better Volume" indicator and ideas from Pascal Willain's book "Value in Time."
- Better-er Volume rules are applied to both Total Volume or rVol.
-- When rVol is displayed Better-er Volume is applied to rVol
-- When Total Volume is displayed Better-er Volume is applied to Total Volume
// Plot Key: //
Green Triangle Up = Often marks the beginning and/or end of price expansion to the upside
Red Triangle Up = Often marks the beginning and/or end of price expansion to the downside
Yellow Square = High Volume but Tight Range. Implies a Battle of Bulls and Bears. High Liquidity area. Provided Liquidity is not enough to move price. Thick Limit Order Book.
Purple Triangle Up or Down = Implies high market participation. Typically at the end of expansion when very significant s/r is hit

The Best Strategy Template[LuciTech]Hello Traders,
This is a powerful and flexible strategy template designed to help you create, backtest, and deploy your own custom trading strategies. This template is not a ready-to-use strategy but a framework that simplifies the development process by providing a wide range of pre-built features and functionalities.
What It Does
The LuciTech Strategy Template provides a robust foundation for building your own automated trading strategies. It includes a comprehensive set of features that are essential for any serious trading strategy, allowing you to focus on your unique trading logic without having to code everything from scratch.
Key Features
The LuciTech Strategy Template integrates several powerful features to enhance your strategy development:
•
Advanced Risk Management: This includes robust controls for defining your Risk Percentage per Trade, setting a precise Risk-to-Reward Ratio, and implementing an intelligent Breakeven Stop-Loss mechanism that automatically adjusts your stop to the entry price once a specified profit threshold is reached. These elements are crucial for capital preservation and consistent profitability.
•
Flexible Stop-Loss Options: The template offers adaptable stop-loss calculation methods, allowing you to choose between ATR-Based Stop-Loss, which dynamically adjusts to market volatility, and Candle-Based Stop-Loss, which uses structural price points from previous candles. This flexibility ensures the stop-loss strategy aligns with diverse trading styles.
•
Time-Based Filtering: Optimize your strategy's performance by restricting trading activity to specific hours of the day. This feature allows you to avoid unfavorable market conditions or focus on periods of higher liquidity and volatility relevant to your strategy.
•
Customizable Webhook Alerts: Stay informed with advanced notification capabilities. The template supports sending detailed webhook alerts in various JSON formats (Standard, Telegram, Concise Telegram) to external platforms, facilitating real-time monitoring and potential integration with automated trading systems.
•
Comprehensive Visual Customization: Enhance your analytical clarity with extensive visual options. You can customize the colors of entry, stop-loss, and take-profit lines, and effectively visualize market inefficiencies by displaying and customizing Fair Value Gap (FVG) boxes directly on your chart.
How It Does It
The LuciTech Strategy Template is meticulously crafted using Pine Script, TradingView's powerful and expressive programming language. The underlying architecture is designed for clarity and modularity, allowing for straightforward integration of your unique trading signals. At its core, the template operates by taking user-defined entry and exit conditions and then applying a sophisticated layer of risk management, position sizing, and trade execution logic.
For instance, when a longCondition or shortCondition is met, the template dynamically calculates the appropriate position size. This calculation is based on your specified risk_percent of equity and the stop_distance (the distance between your entry price and the calculated stop-loss level). This ensures that each trade adheres to your predefined risk parameters, a critical component of disciplined trading.
The flexibility in stop-loss calculation is achieved through a switch statement that evaluates the sl_type input. Whether you choose an ATR-based stop, which adapts to market volatility, or a candle-based stop, which uses structural price points, the template seamlessly integrates these methods. The ATR calculation itself is further refined by allowing various smoothing methods (RMA, SMA, EMA, WMA), providing granular control over how volatility is measured.
Time-based filtering is implemented by comparing the current bar's time with user-defined start_hour, start_minute, end_hour, and end_minute inputs. This allows the strategy to activate or deactivate trading during specific market sessions or periods of the day, a valuable tool for optimizing performance and avoiding unfavorable conditions.
Furthermore, the template incorporates advanced webhook alert functionality. When a trade is executed, a customizable JSON message is formatted based on your webhook_format selection (Standard, Telegram, or Concise Telegram) and sent via alert function. This enables seamless integration with external services for real-time notifications or even automated trade execution through third-party platforms.
Visual feedback is paramount for understanding strategy behavior. The template utilizes plot and fill functions to clearly display entry prices, stop-loss levels, and take-profit targets directly on the chart. Customizable colors for these elements, along with dedicated options for Fair Value Gap (FVG) boxes, enhance the visual analysis during backtesting and live trading, making it easier to interpret the strategy's actions.
How It's Original
The LuciTech Strategy Template distinguishes itself in the crowded landscape of TradingView scripts through its unique combination of integrated, advanced risk management features, highly flexible stop-loss methodologies, and sophisticated alerting capabilities, all within a user-friendly and modular framework. While many templates offer basic entry/exit signal integration, LuciTech goes several steps further by providing a robust, ready-to-use infrastructure for managing the entire trade lifecycle once a signal is generated.
Unlike templates that might require users to piece together various risk management components or code complex stop-loss logic from scratch, LuciTech offers these critical functionalities out-of-the-box. The inclusion of dynamic position sizing based on a user-defined risk percentage, a configurable risk-to-reward ratio, and an intelligent breakeven mechanism significantly elevates its utility. This comprehensive approach to capital preservation and profit targeting is a cornerstone of professional trading and is often overlooked or simplified in generic templates.
Furthermore, the template's provision for multiple stop-loss calculation types—ATR-based for volatility adaptation, and candle-based for structural support/resistance—demonstrates a deep understanding of diverse trading strategies. The underlying code for these calculations is already implemented, saving developers considerable time and effort. The subtle yet powerful inclusion of FVG (Fair Value Gap) related inputs also hints at advanced price action concepts, offering a sophisticated layer of analysis and execution that is not commonly found in general-purpose templates.
The advanced webhook alerting system, with its support for various JSON formats tailored for platforms like Telegram, showcases an originality in catering to the needs of modern, automated trading setups. This moves beyond simple TradingView pop-up alerts, enabling seamless integration with external systems for real-time trade monitoring and execution. This level of external connectivity and customizable data output is a significant differentiator.
In essence, the LuciTech Strategy Template is original not just in its individual features, but in how these features are cohesively integrated to form a powerful, opinionated, yet highly adaptable system. It empowers traders to focus their creative energy on developing their core entry/exit signals, confident that the underlying framework will handle the complexities of risk management, trade execution, and external communication with precision and flexibility. It's a comprehensive solution designed to accelerate the development of robust and professional trading strategies.
How to Modify the Logic to Apply Your Strategy
The LuciTech Strategy Template is designed with modularity in mind, making it exceptionally straightforward to integrate your unique trading strategy logic. The template provides a clear separation between the core strategy management (risk, position sizing, exits) and the entry signal generation. This allows you to easily plug in your own buy and sell conditions without altering the robust underlying framework.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to adapt the template to your specific trading strategy:
1.
Locate the Strategy Logic Section:
Open the Pine Script editor in TradingView and navigate to the section clearly marked with the comment //Strategy Logic Example:. This is where the template’s placeholder entry conditions (a simple moving average crossover) are defined.
2.
Define Your Custom Entry Conditions:
Within this section, you will find variables such as longCondition and shortCondition. These are boolean variables that determine when a long or short trade should be initiated. Replace the existing example logic with your own custom buy and sell conditions. Your conditions can be based on any combination of indicators, price action patterns, candlestick formations, or other market analysis techniques. For example, if your strategy involves a combination of RSI and MACD, you would define longCondition as (rsi > 50 and macd_line > signal_line) and shortCondition as (rsi < 50 and macd_line < signal_line).
3.
Leverage the Template’s Built-in Features:
Once your longCondition and shortCondition are defined, the rest of the template automatically takes over. The integrated risk management module will calculate the appropriate position size based on your Risk % input and the chosen Stop Loss Type. The Risk:Reward ratio will determine your take-profit levels, and the Breakeven at R feature will manage your stop-loss dynamically. The time filter (Use Time Filter) will ensure your trades only occur within your specified hours, and the webhook alerts will notify you of trade executions.
CARDIC2.0
Cardic Heat 2.0 – The Beginning of It All
Cardic Heat 2.0 was the very first release that introduced the **Cardic Heat concept** to traders worldwide. It was designed to cut through chart noise and give traders something clean, simple, and effective — a tool that actually highlights where the market heat really is.
Key Features:
* First-ever Heat Zones – Liquidity and reaction zones made visible for the first time.
* Simple Range Mapping – Early DR/IDR levels to guide intraday moves.
* Scalping Ready – Focused on the 5M and 15M timeframes for fast setups.
* Beginner Friendly – Straightforward visuals anyone could follow.
* Foundation Build – Created the structure for future Cardic Heat upgrades.
Why Cardic Heat 2.0?
Because this was the origin the version that started the journey. It gave traders their first taste of institutional precision in a simplified way, proving that smart trading doesn’t need to be complicated.
From this point, the vision was clear: Cardic Heat 2.0 lit the spark that grew into the Cardic Nexus movement.
Session AnchorsDescription
This indicator highlights the four main global trading sessions — London, New York AM, New York PM, and Asia — as color-coded boxes on the chart. Each session is defined by fixed start/end times (New York time) and dynamically updates with the evolving high and low during that interval. This provides a clear view of how volatility and structure shift as trading activity passes from one region to another.
How to use
• Works on any timeframe.
• Toggle sessions on/off based on your trading hours.
• Observe price behavior as one session closes and another opens.
• Use session boxes as context for liquidity, volatility, and structure analysis.
Originality
This script delivers a clean, customizable visualization of global market hours and session ranges, avoiding extra overlays so traders can isolate session-based behavior without distraction.
⚠️ Disclaimer
This indicator does not generate signals. It provides a structural mapping of global sessions for contextual analysis only.
TJR SMT DivergencesTJR – SMT Divergences
Smart Money Technique (SMT) Divergences is a tool designed to compare two instruments and detect situations where their pivot structures (swing highs / swing lows) diverge.
How it works
The script identifies pivots on the active chart and on two selected comparison instruments. When one market creates a Higher High (HH) or Lower Low (LL) and the other fails to confirm it (remains at an Equal High/Low or forms an LH/HL), an SMT Divergence is detected. Lines connect consecutive pivots, and labels indicate which instrument generated the divergence.
Settings
Pivot Lookback – number of bars left/right required to confirm a pivot.
Comparison Symbol A/B – choose comparison instruments (default: ES1! and NQ1!).
Style – colors for swing high/low divergences.
Dashboard – optional table summarizing counts and effectiveness of signals.
Use cases
Identify when normally correlated markets start to diverge.
SMT signals are often used as confirmation of liquidity grabs or false breakouts.
Common setups include ES vs NQ, EURUSD vs DXY, or other highly correlated markets.
Tips
Works best on lower timeframes (1m–15m) when comparing correlated instruments.
The dashboard can be enabled to track signal statistics in real time.
Labels are kept small by default to reduce clutter but can be disabled if preferred.
RSI MA Cross + Divergence Signal (V2) Core Logic
RSI + Moving Average
The script calculates a standard RSI (default 14).
It then overlays a moving average (SMA/EMA/WMA, default 9).
When RSI crosses above its MA → bullish momentum.
When RSI crosses below its MA → bearish momentum.
Divergence Filter
Signals are only valid if there’s confirmed divergence:
Bullish divergence: Price makes a lower low, RSI makes a higher low.
Bearish divergence: Price makes a higher high, RSI makes a lower high.
Overbought / Oversold Filter
Optional extra:
Bullish signals only valid if RSI ≤ 30 (oversold).
Bearish signals only valid if RSI ≥ 70 (overbought).
This ensures signals happen in “stretched” conditions.
Risk & Trade Management
Entries taken only when all conditions align.
Exits can be managed with ATR stops, partial take-profits, breakeven moves, and trailing stops (we coded these in the strategy version).
Cooldown, session filters, and daily loss guard to keep risk tight.
🔹 Strengths
✅ High selectivity: Combining RSI cross + divergence + OB/OS means signals are rare but higher quality.
✅ Great at catching reversals: Divergence highlights where price may be running out of steam.
✅ Risk management baked in: ATR stops + partial exits smooth out equity curve.
✅ Works across markets: ES, FX, crypto — anywhere RSI divergences are respected.
✅ Flexible: You can loosen/tighten filters depending on aggressiveness.
🔹 Weaknesses
❌ Lag from pivots: Divergence only confirms after a few bars → you enter late sometimes.
❌ Choppy in ranges: In sideways markets, RSI divergences appear often and whipsaw.
❌ Filters reduce signals: With all filters ON (divergence + OB/OS + trend + session), signals can be very rare — may under-trade.
❌ Not standalone: Needs higher-timeframe context (trend, liquidity pools) to avoid counter-trend entries.
🔹 Best Ways to Trade It
Use Higher Timeframe Bias
Run the strategy on 15m/1H, but only trade in direction of higher timeframe trend (e.g., 4H EMA).
Example: If daily is bullish → only take bullish divergences.
Pair With Structure
Look for signals at key zones: HTF support/resistance, VWAP, or FVGs.
Divergence + RSI cross inside an FVG is a strong entry trigger.
Adjust OB/OS for Volatility
For crypto/FX: use 35/65 instead of 30/70 (markets trend harder).
For ES/S&P: 30/70 works fine.
Risk Management Is King
Use partial exits: take profit at 1R, trail rest.
Size by % of equity (we coded this into the strategy).
Avoid News Spikes
Divergences break down around CPI, NFP, Fed announcements — stay flat.
🔹 When It Shines
Trending markets that make extended pushes → clean divergences.
Reversal zones (oversold → bullish bounce, overbought → bearish fade).
Swing trading (15m–4H) — less noise than 1m/5m scalping.
🔹 When to Avoid
Low volatility chop → lots of false divergences.
During high-impact news → RSI swings wildly.
In strong one-way trends without pullbacks — divergence keeps calling tops/bottoms too early.
✅ Summary:
This is a reversal-focused RSI divergence strategy with strict filters. It’s powerful when combined with higher-timeframe bias + structure confluence, but weak if traded blindly in choppy or news-driven conditions. Best to treat it as a precision entry trigger, not a full system — layer it on top of your FVG/ORB framework for maximum edge.
Phantom Trend IndicatorOverview
The Phantom Trend Indicator (PTI) is a streamlined tool for identifying trend direction and strength. It blends zigzag-based trend detection with a volume profile to display a histogram showing price distance from the Point of Control (POC). Six distinct colors highlight trend states, with background highlights for extreme price zones. Ideal for stocks, forex, crypto, and futures across any timeframe.
Features:
Trend Detection: Uses zigzag fractals to identify uptrends and downtrends.
Histogram Colors: Six colors for trend strength (low, high, extreme for up/down trends) or neutral (gray).
Dynamic Levels: Plots POC, Value Area Low (VAL), and High (VAH) via volume profile.
Background Colors: Highlights overbought (above VAH) or oversold (below VAL) zones.
Alerts: Signals new trends.
How It Works:
Trends: Zigzag fractals define trend ranges, with price position setting histogram colors (low, high, or extreme).
Histogram: Shows price deviation from POC.
Background: Colors extreme zones outside VAL/VAH.
This indicator builds on traditional trend detectors and volume profiles by integrating them into a single, cohesive tool. Unlike standard momentum indicators that rely on moving averages, PTI uses zigzag fractals for more responsive trend identification, reducing lag in volatile markets. Compared to basic volume profile scripts, it adds trend-based color coding and background alerts for extremes, providing clearer visual cues for overbought/oversold conditions. The six distinct colors indicate trend strength, and customizable thresholds allow fine-tuning for different assets and timeframes, enhancing adaptability. Traders benefit from combined momentum and liquidity insights, helping spot reversals or continuations more reliably—making PTI a valuable, standalone addition for both novice and experienced users.
Settings
Trend Detector: Toggle alerts, adjust zigzag sensitivity, and set thresholds for low-to-high and extreme color transitions.
Dynamic Levels: Configure volume profile period, multiplier, accuracy, value area percent, and ATR-based channel width.
Visuals: Customize POC, VAL, VAH, and area fill colors.
Read Histogram: Uptrend colors show early, strong, or overextended moves; downtrend colors indicate early, weakening, or oversold conditions; gray for consolidation.
Background: Monitor for overbought/oversold color-coded signals.
Tune: Adjust zigzag or period settings for your timeframe/asset.
Tips
Shorten period for intraday, extend for swing trading.
Pair with other indicators for confirmation.
Notes:
Requires sufficient chart data for volume profile.
Test settings for low-volatility assets.
For informational use only, not financial advice. Test thoroughly, and happy trading!

Asia (20:00–03:00) – green lines
London (03:00–08:00) – blue lines
New York (08:00–13:00) – red lines
Features:
Levels update in real time during each session.
When a new session starts, the previous lines are deleted – only the latest active sessions remain visible.
Default session times are set to Asia (20:00–03:00), London (03:00–08:00), and New York (08:00–13:00), but you can adjust them to your own custom hours in the settings.
Colors can also be customized.
Use cases:
Quickly visualize session ranges.
Track session highs/lows for breakouts, fakeouts, and reactions around liquidity zones.

Volume Voids [theUltimator5]Volume Voids highlights price regions with no or unusually thin participation over a chosen lookback. It bins the lookback’s full price range into equal steps, assigns each bar’s close to a bin, and accumulates volume per bin. Contiguous runs of zero-volume bins are shown as “voids,” while low-volume runs (below a dynamic threshold) mark thin-liquidity “corridors” where price often traverses quickly when revisited.
An optional PoC (Point of Control) line marks the mid-price of the highest-volume bin—commonly treated as a recent “value” area that price may revisit.
What it draws on your chart
Histogram (optional): Right-anchored horizontal volume-by-price bars built from your lookback and bin count. Bars tint green→red via a simple delta proxy (up-bar volume minus down-bar volume) to hint at directional participation inside each price band.
Point of Control (optional): A horizontal line at the highest-volume bin’s mid-price (the PoC).
Zero-Volume Voids: Translucent boxes where no bin volume printed within the window (detected between the first and last non-empty bins ).
Low-Volume Zones: Translucent boxes where bin volume is below a dynamic threshold (see formula below), often acting like low-friction corridors.
How it works
Slice the lookback’s high→low into N equal price bins.
Assign each bar’s closing price to a bin and add that bar’s volume to the bin total. A simple up/down-bar delta proxy drives the histogram’s tinting.
PoC = bin with the maximum accumulated volume.
Zero-Volume Voids = contiguous runs of bins with exactly zero volume (bounded by the first/last occupied bins).
Low-Volume Zones = contiguous runs of bins with volume below:
threshold = total_window_volume ÷ (divisor × number_of_bins)
Lower divisor → more LV boxes; higher divisor → stricter/fewer boxes.
Note: This is a lightweight, chart-native approximation of a volume profile. Volume is binned by bar close (not by tick-level prints or intrabar distribution), so “voids”/“thin” areas reflect this approximation.
Key inputs
Lookback Period: Window for calculations.
Number of Volume Boxes (bins): Histogram resolution.
PoC / Show Histogram / Anchor to Right Side: Visibility and layout controls.
Low-Volume Threshold Divisor: Sensitivity for LV detection.
Colors & Labels: Customize zero-volume / low-volume box colors and optional labels with offsets.
How to use (educational, not signals)
Context: High-volume = acceptance; thin/zero-volume = inefficiency. Price often rotates near acceptance and moves faster through thin areas.
Revisits: On returns to prior voids/LV zones, watch for accelerated moves or fills; PoC can serve as a balance reference.
Confluence: Pair with trend tools (e.g., ADX), VWAP/session markers, or structure levels for timing and risk.
Limitations & performance
Bins use closing price only; intrabar distribution is not modeled.
Detections refresh on the live bar; visuals can be heavy on large lookbacks/high bin counts—reduce bins/lookback or hide labels if needed.
IV Rank (tasty-style) — VIXFix / HV ProxyIV Rank (tasty-style) — VIXFix / HV Proxy
Overview
This indicator replicates tastytrade’s IV Rank calculation—but built entirely inside TradingView.
Because TradingView does not expose live option-chain implied volatility, the script lets you choose between two widely used price-based IV proxies:
VIXFix (Williams VIX Fix): a fast-reacting volatility estimate derived from price extremes.
HV(30): 30-day annualized historical volatility of daily log returns.
The goal is to approximate the “rich vs. cheap” option volatility environment that traders use to decide whether to sell or buy premium.
Formula
IV Rank answers the question: Where is current implied volatility relative to its own 1-year range?

IVcurrent: Current value of the chosen IV proxy.
IV1yHigh/Low: Highest and lowest proxy values over the user-defined lookback (default 252 trading days ≈ 1 year).
IVR = 0 → Current IV equals its 1-year low
IVR = 100 → Current IV equals its 1-year high
IVR ≈ 50 → Current IV sits mid-range
How to Use
High IV Rank (≥50–60%)
Options are relatively expensive → short-premium strategies (credit spreads, iron condors, straddles) may be more attractive.
Low IV Rank (≤20%)
Options are relatively cheap → long-premium strategies (debit spreads, calendars, diagonals) may offer better risk/reward.
Combine with your own analysis, liquidity checks, and risk management.
Inputs & Customization
IV Source: Choose “VIXFix” or “HV(30)” as the volatility proxy.
IVR Lookback: Rolling window for 1-year high/low (default 252 trading days).
VIXFix Parameters: Length and stdev multiplier to fine-tune sensitivity.
Info Label: Optional on-chart label displays current IV proxy, 1-year high/low, and IV Rank.
Alerts: Optional alerts when IVR crosses 50, falls below 20, or rises above 80.
Notes & Limitations
This indicator does not pull real option-chain IV.
It provides a close structural analogue to tastytrade’s IV Rank using price-derived proxies for markets where options data is not directly available.
For live option IV, use broker platforms or third-party data feeds alongside this script.

EMA / WMA RibbonMomentum Flow Ribbon
Unlock a clear, visual edge in identifying short-term momentum shifts with the Momentum Flow Ribbon.
This indicator was born from a simple yet powerful concept: to visually represent the dynamic relationship between a fast-reacting Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the smoother, more methodical Wilder's Moving Average (WMA). While both moving averages use the same length, their unique calculation methods cause them to separate and cross, creating a "ribbon" that provides an immediate and intuitive gauge of market momentum.
This tool is designed for the disciplined trader who values clean charts and actionable signals, helping you to execute your strategies with greater confidence and precision.
How It Works
The script plots an EMA and a Wilder's Moving Average (referred to as rma in Pine Script) of the same length. The space between these two lines is then filled with a colored ribbon:
Bullish Green/Teal: The ribbon turns bullish when the faster EMA crosses above the slower Wilder's MA, indicating that short-term momentum is strengthening to the upside.
Bearish Red: The ribbon turns bearish when the EMA crosses below the Wilder's MA, signaling that short-term momentum is shifting to the downside.
The inherent "lag" of the Wilder's MA, a feature designed by J. Welles Wilder Jr. himself, acts as a steady baseline against which the more sensitive EMA can be measured. The result is a simple, zero-lag visual that filters out insignificant noise and highlights meaningful changes in trend direction.
Key Features
Customizable Length and Source: Easily adjust the moving average length and price source (close, hl2, etc.) to fit your specific trading style and the instrument you are trading, from futures like MES and MNQ to cryptocurrencies and forex.
Customizable Colors: Tailor the ribbon's bullish and bearish colors to match your personal chart aesthetic.
Built-in Alerts: The script includes pre-configured alerts for both bullish (EMA crosses above WMA) and bearish (EMA crosses below WMA) signals. Never miss a potential momentum shift again.
Clean & Lightweight: No clutter. Just a simple, effective ribbon that integrates seamlessly into any trading system.
Practical Application for the Discerning Trader
For a futures trader, timing is everything. This ribbon is not just another indicator; it's a tool for confirmation.
Imagine you've identified a key level—a Volume Profile POC, the previous day's low, or a critical accumulation zone. As price approaches this level pre-London session, you're watching for a sign of institutional activity. A flip in the ribbon's color at that precise moment can provide the powerful confirmation you need to enter a trade, trusting that you are aligning with the building liquidity and momentum heading into the New York open.
This is a tool for those who aspire to greatness in their trading—who understand that the edge is found not in complexity, but in the flawless execution of a simple, well-defined plan.
Add the Momentum Flow Ribbon to your chart and start seeing momentum in a clearer light.
TPO Levels [VAH/POC/VAL] with Poor H/L, Single Prints & NPOCs### 🎯 Advanced Market Profile & Key Level Analysis
This script is a unique and comprehensive technical analysis tool designed to help traders understand market structure, value, and key liquidity levels using the principles of **Auction Market Theory** and **Market Profile**.
This script is unique (and shouldn't be censored) because :
It allows large history of levels to be displayed
Accurate as possible tick size
Doesn't draw a profile but only the actual levels
Supports multi-timeframe levels even on the daily mode giving macro context
There is no indicator out there that does it
While these concepts are universal, this indicator was built primarily for the dynamic, 24/7 nature of the **cryptocurrency market**. It helps you move beyond simple price action to understand *why* the market is moving, which is especially crucial in the volatile crypto space.
### ## 📊 The Concepts Behind the Calculations
To use this script effectively, it's important to understand the core concepts it is built upon. The entire script is self-contained and does not require other indicators.
* **What is Market Profile?**
Market Profile is a unique charting technique that organizes price and time data to reveal market structure. It's built from **Time Price Opportunities (TPOs)**, which are 30-minute periods of market activity. By stacking these TPOs, the script builds a distribution, showing which price levels were most accepted (heavily traded) and which were rejected (lightly traded) during a session.
* **What is the Value Area (VA)?**
The Value Area is the heart of the profile. It represents the price range where **70%** of the session's trading volume occurred. This is considered the "fair value" zone where both buyers and sellers were in general agreement.
* **Point of Control (POC):** The single price level with the most TPOs. This was the most accepted or "fairest" price of the session and acts as a gravitational line for price.
* **Value Area High (VAH):** The upper boundary of the 70% value zone.
* **Value Area Low (VAL):** The lower boundary of the 70% value zone.
VAH and VAL are dynamic support and resistance levels. Trading outside the previous session's value area can signal the start of a new trend.

### ## 📈 Key Features Explained
This script automatically calculates and displays the following critical market-generated information:
* **Multi-Timeframe Market Profile**
Automatically draws Daily, Weekly, and Monthly profiles, allowing you to analyze market structure across different time horizons. The script preserves up to 20 historical sessions to provide deep market context.
* **Naked Point of Control (nPOC)**
A "Naked" POC is a Point of Control from a previous session that has **not** been revisited by price. These levels often act as powerful magnets for price, representing areas of unfinished business that the market may seek to retest. The script tracks and displays Daily, Weekly, and Monthly nPOCs until they are touched.
* **Single Prints (Imbalance Zones)**
A Single Print is a price level where only one TPO traded during the session's development. This signifies a rapid, aggressive price move and an imbalanced market. These areas, like gaps in a traditional chart, are frequently revisited as the market seeks to "fill in" these thin parts of the profile.
* **Poor Structure (Unfinished Auctions)**
A **Poor High** or **Poor Low** occurs when the top or bottom of a profile is flat, with two or more TPOs at the extreme price. This suggests that the auction in that direction was weak and inconclusive. These weak structures often signal a high probability that price will eventually break that high or low.

### ## 💡 How to Use This Indicator
This tool is not a signal generator but an analytical framework to improve your trading decisions.
1. **Determine Market Context:** Start by asking: Is the current price trading *inside* or *outside* the previous session's Value Area?
* **Inside VA:** The market is in a state of balance or range-bound. Look for trades between the VAH and VAL.
* **Outside VA:** The market is in a state of imbalance and may be starting a trend. Look for continuation or acceptance of prices outside the prior value.
2. **Identify Key Levels:**
* Use historical **nPOCs** as potential profit targets or areas to watch for a price reaction.
* Treat historical **VAH** and **VAL** levels as significant support and resistance zones.
* Note where **Single Prints** are. These are often price magnets that may get "filled" in the future.
3. **Spot Weakness:**
* A **Poor High** suggests weak resistance that may be easily broken.
* A **Poor Low** suggests weak support, signaling a potential for a continued move lower if broken.

### ## ⚙️ Customization & Crypto Presets
The indicator is highly customizable, allowing you to change colors, transparency, the number of historical sessions, and more.
To help traders get started quickly, the indicator includes **built-in layout presets** specifically calibrated for major cryptocurrencies: ** BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P , BINANCE:ETHUSDT.P , and BINANCE:SOLUSDT.P **. These presets automatically adjust key visual parameters to better suit the unique price characteristics and volatility of each asset, providing an optimized view right out of the box.

## ⚠️ Critical Success Factors
1. Always Verify the Trend Yourself
The indicator helps identify signals, but YOU must confirm the larger trend context. Check higher timeframes and overall market structure before entering.
2. Understand the "Big Players"
Strong candles in trend direction usually come from institutional money (banks, funds, algorithms). These create the momentum that retail traders can follow. The indicator catches these institutional moves.
3. Distance to Next Value Level
NEVER enter if price is too close to major resistance/support levels:
- Check distance to round numbers (1.1000, 1.1050, etc.)
- Ensure at least 20-30 pips room to next key level
- You need space for profit - tight levels = limited upside
4. Risk Management
- Stop Loss: 1-2 ATR from entry
- Take Profit: 2-3 ATR target (minimum 1:2 R/R)
- Position Size: Risk max 1-2% per trade
## 💡 Pro Tips
- Best Sessions: London open (8-12 UTC) and NY open (13-17 UTC)
- Avoid: Major news, low liquidity periods, choppy markets
- Multiple Timeframes: Confirm signals on higher timeframe
- Value Levels: Always check daily/weekly support/resistance before entering
## 🎯 Success Formula
Trend Confirmation + Strong Institutional Candle + Distance to Value Levels = High Probability Trade
*
Remember: The indicator finds the signals, but successful trading requires your analysis of trend context and value level positioning. Trade smart, not just frequent.
CM_Williams_Vix_Fix (v5) + Optional InverseCM_Williams_Vix_Fix (v5) + Optional Inverse
This indicator is a modernized Pine v5 rewrite of Larry Williams’ classic Vix Fix, with an optional inverse mode to detect both capitulation lows (buy signals) and euphoric highs (sell signals).
🔎 What It Does
Vix Fix (Buy-side): Mimics the behavior of the VIX by detecting panic/fear spikes when price makes unusually deep lows relative to recent closes.
Inverse Vix Fix (Sell-side): Flips the logic to highlight euphoric/overbought spikes when price makes unusually high prints relative to recent closes.
Works on any timeframe or instrument — originally built for stocks/futures that don’t have their own VIX.
⚙️ Inputs
LookBack Period (pd): Number of bars to check for recent highs/lows.
Bollinger Band Length (bbl): Period for volatility bands.
Std Dev Multiplier (mult): Sensitivity of the bands.
Percentile Lookback (lb, ph, pl): Optional percentile thresholds for extra filters.
Show Range Lines (hp): Toggle percentile-based high/low markers.
Show StdDev Bands (sd): Toggle Bollinger-style envelopes.
Show Inverse (Sell) Version: Plots a red histogram for euphoric tops.
📊 Plots
Green Histogram: Vix Fix (fear/panic spikes).
Red Histogram: Inverse Vix Fix (euphoria spikes, optional).
Orange Lines: Percentile-based thresholds (optional).
Aqua Lines: Bollinger-style volatility bands (optional).
🧭 How to Use
Green Spikes (Buy Vix Fix): Potential market bottoms when fear is high.
Red Spikes (Inverse): Potential market tops when greed/euphoria is high.
Works best when combined with:
Trend filters (e.g. moving averages).
Market structure tools (e.g. support/resistance, FVGs, liquidity levels).
Other volatility/volume confirmations.
⚠️ Note: This is an indicator only (not a strategy). It highlights potential extremes in sentiment/volatility, but does not provide direct buy/sell orders. Always confirm with price action and risk management.
