Session [ShuZik]The Trading Sessions Indicator is a tool that draws smart boxes around the ranges of four trading sessions.
By default, it is set to display the Asian, Frankfurt London and New York sessions in UTC+3 time.
Users can customize:
the time for each session,
Enable/Disable the appearing of sessions box,
change smart box color
The indicator is designed for use on 5-minute timeframe but is working for use from 1 minute to 1 hour.
All parameters, such as session times, the number of sessions, and colors, can be adjusted through the settings, allowing the indicator to be tailored to any trading style and user preferences. It is primarily aimed at working with forex and cryptocurrency markets.
Sessionrange
Simple Sessions - [TTF]In working with a lot of new traders, one of the most common hurdles that they tend to encounter is properly identifying the various major trading sessions around the world. While it's pretty intuitive to grasp the basic concept, the biggest struggle is around the time conversion. Most people are pretty familiar with the trading session most local to them (e.g. US residents are generally pretty familiar with when the US session is relative to their local timezone), but tend to have much more difficulty in determining when exactly the start and end times are of "foreign" sessions (e.g. Europe or Tokyo). This can be even more challenging when trying to account for regional time differences (like Daylight Savings Time), and larger global time differences (e.g. seasons in opposite hemispheres are reversed). It was with these things in mind that we took to making this version of a sessions indicator to help people better visualize and interact with the various sessions in a more intuitive manner.
Key features include:
Individual settings and configuration for each major session (America/New York, Europe/London, and Asia/Tokyo), along with customizable highlighting color for the Europe/US Mixed session
Session start and end times are configured as the local time for those session (e.g. America/New York session time is configured relative to the US Eastern timezone)
The indicator will automatically handle the timezone conversion and correctly display the sessions on chart regardless of the user's on-chart configured timezone
Users can customize which days of the week that they want the sessions to include or exclude based on their personal preferences and trading schedule (e.g. exclude Fridays since that is when most news events occur)
There is an additional fully-customizable session that can be configured (including reference timezone) for a fully-custom trading window visualization (helpful for people with constraints in their trading availability and can't align with one of the "major" sessions)
We hope that the community finds this as helpful as we hope, and feedback is always welcome!
High & Low Of Custom SessionThis script boxes a custom session and sets the box at the high and low of the session and draws that box to the next session.
Box color is determined by price in relation to the box position. Box color is set at the start of the next session. This allows
user to lookback at multiple box sets to see how each day closed in relation to the session highlighted.
I have written this for backtesting purposes and intend to expand it to use with volume analysis and gradient color to change the box color based on how many times price tests
the box.
Session High Low
This indicator shows Session High Low line and prices.
1: Session range is adjustable based on your timeframe. Nomore confusing timezone settings.
You can choose your timezone then set your Session start and end time.
Script will show you the following session high and low lines which is extendable until next session.
2: All historical lines and price levels are can be partially or fully hidden.
And line colors are adjustable so you can use suitable color on your chart.
Based on session you choose this script can be used as a session break strategy AKA (Asian session break, London session break strategy).
You can create your own trading Session and high lows.
Personally I monitor how price reacts on London session high lows during the NewYork trading session.
In this chart Session starts at 8am (London open) and closes at 12:30 (NewYork open). Script is showing high lows only in this session range.
Always double confirm with your trading style. It's not a Financial advice.
Inputs:
1: Hide history - Hides all historical lines and prices that means you can see only todays session.
2: Show price - Shows price level of session high lows. You can hide price level if you want to see only lines.
3: Session time - You can set your time range of session.
4: Start time - Session start time. You can see vertical line on your chart or you can hide line.
5: End time - Session end time. You can see vertical line on your chart or you can hide line.
6: Line extend time - End of the high low lines. You can draw line until the end of the session or you can draw short line.
7: All line and price colors are optional.
Thank you.
Session's First Bar RangeFirst Bar is crucial when there is gap up or gap down opening. It is recommended to use 15m Timeframe for better use.
Crossing this range signifies the absorption of existing buyers/sellers in the opening session and sometimes decide the trend onwards.
High & Low Of Custom Session - OpeningRange Breakout (Expo)High & Low Of Custom Session - OpeningRange Breakout (Expo) prints the high and the low of a custom session.
I use the indicator to trade the re-test of opening range (high/low) as well as breakouts from the opening range. The same logic can be applied to the session you have chosen.
HOW TO USE
1. Use the indicator to trade the re-tests of the session range.
2. Use the indicator to trade breakouts of session range.
