ARVEX Squeeze Elite v2.1ARVEX Squeeze Elite v2.1 is a volatility + momentum oscillator designed to help visualize compression vs expansion, directional pressure, and optional oscillator divergences in one pane.
It’s intended as a context tool for chart analysis. It does not provide financial advice.
⸻
What it shows
• Squeeze state (compression vs expansion) based on a volatility envelope comparison
• A momentum/pressure oscillator with:
• Histogram (momentum change)
• Smoothed signal line
• A strength readout (normalized) to describe how elevated momentum is relative to recent history
• Optional bullish/bearish divergence labels based on price pivots vs oscillator pivots
• A compact HUD with:
• Bias (Bull / Bear / Neutral)
• Mode (Squeeze / Normal)
• Strength %
• Squeeze duration (bars), if enabled
⸻
1) Squeeze detection (volatility compression)
Squeeze Elite identifies compression by comparing:
• Bollinger Bands (volatility envelope)
• Keltner Channels (range-based envelope)
A squeeze is considered active when the BB envelope contracts inside the KC envelope (based on your settings). This is used to label the market as compressed vs expanded.
⸻
2) Momentum / pressure oscillator
The oscillator measures directional pressure using a momentum calculation (configurable), then applies smoothing that can be adjusted for responsiveness. The histogram helps visualize acceleration/deceleration of momentum relative to the zero line.
⸻
3) Normalized strength (0–100)
Momentum is scaled to a 0–100 style reading using a rolling lookback. This is meant to provide relative context (e.g., “higher than typical recently”) rather than absolute prediction.
⸻
4) Optional divergence labeling (price vs oscillator)
If enabled, the script marks divergences using pivot logic:
• Bullish divergence: price makes a lower low while the oscillator makes a higher low
• Bearish divergence: price makes a higher high while the oscillator makes a lower high
These labels are informational and depend on the chosen pivot settings.
⸻
Typical ways traders use it
• Identifying compressed phases and monitoring for expansion
• Tracking directional momentum bias
• Combining divergences with other structure tools (levels, trend filters, or your own plan)

Notes / Disclaimer
Volatility and momentum conditions can change quickly. Signals are rule-based and may behave differently across markets and timeframes. Always use risk management.
