The Micro Dots were hours of testing different combinations of indicators and settings to find what looked and worked best. This is what I came up with, use it as a rough draft as it could probably be added to or changed around.
One simple way to use the indicator is if price is above VMA with green dots, look to long. If price is below VMA with red dots look to short.
Variable Moving Average - Also known as VMA or Track Line, is an Exponential Moving Average. VMA adjusts its smoothing constant on the basis of Market Volatility. This can help to measure the macro trend.
Micro Trend Dots - A Supertrend with extras filters. Supertrend is a trend-following indicator based on ATR (In this indicator TrueRange instead). The extra filters on top of the Supertrend help add confluence to them to give more confidence in the micro trend.

The Variable Moving Average (VMA) is a study that uses an Exponential Moving Average being able to automatically adjust its smoothing factor according to the market volatility. Adjusted the settings of the VMA to move closer to price(quicker). This gives the user the ability to catch moves at support/resistance levels for added confluence.
In addition to the Rail Line or VMA, the indicator makes use of Bollinger Bands in two ways. First, it displays when the Bollinger Bands are in a squeeze and the potential direction of the breakout. The "squeeze" is the central concept of Bollinger Bands. When the bands come close together, constricting the moving average, it is called a squeeze. A squeeze signals a period of low volatility and is considered by traders to be a potential sign of future increased volatility and possible trading opportunities. The Bollinger Bands are also utilized to highlight when price action might reverse. This signals when price closes outside of the bands, quickly reverts and closes within the bands

The indicator makes use of the Hull Moving Average as a method to quickly capture price action moves thanks to its ability to eliminate lag while managing to improve smoothing at the same time.
Finally, the indicator utilizes Volume Point of Control (VPOC) to determine points in price where the highest amount of volume was traded. Unlike the market profile, the indicator will plot the Volume POC per candle. The script will also plot Trapped Volume. This is important as it tends to serve a signal for reversal. The more price moves away from the trapped volume, Long/Short traders might be forced to cover and price could quickly move away from the area.

Rail Line Levels [s3]Plots support/resistance lines based on a neutral signal (white portion) of the Rail Line (variable moving average) for a period of time designated by the user (defaults to 9 bars). Support/Resistance lines will be removed after a period of tests and can be determined by the user (defaults to 26). Support/Resistance is deemed not as important or strong after several touches or tests. The trailer uses a combination of the calculation for the Rail Line (variable moving average) and an ATR to show the overall trend direction.
The indicator is centered around a Variable Moving Average. The Variable Moving Average (VMA) is a study that uses an Exponential Moving Average being able to automatically adjust its smoothing factor according to the market volatility.
In addition to the VMA, the indicator makes use of the ATR which measures market volatility by decomposing the entire range of an asset price for that period. The true range is taken as the greatest of the following: current high less the current low; the absolute value of the current high less the previous close; and the absolute value of the current low less the previous close.
FFT Strategy Bi-Directional Stop/Profit/Trailing + VMA + AroonThis strategy uses the Fast Fourier Transform inspired from the source code of @tbiktag for the Fast Fourier Transform & @lazybear for the VMA filter.
If you are not familiar with the Fast Fourier transform it is a variation of the Discrete Fourier Transform. Veritasium on youtube has a great video on it with a follow up recommendation from 3brown1blue. In short it will extract all the frequencies from a set of data. @tbiktag laid the groundwork for creating the indicator which will allow you to isolate only those signals which are the most relevant and remove the noise. I recommend having @tbiktag's FFT Transform indicator side by side with this to understand what my variation is doing by setting similar settings .
Using this idea, you can then optimize a strategy to the frequencies that are best. The main entry signal is when the FFT Signal crosses above or below the 0 line .
Included with this strategy is the ability to optionally bi-directionally set:

Entries are optionally further filtered by use of the VMA using the algorithm from LazyBear which allows you to adjust a variable moving average with 3 market trend detections. Green represents upwards momentum; Blue sideways trading and Red downwards momentum. The idea being to filter out buy or sell entries unless the market is moving in that direction, and this makes a big difference as you can see for yourself when you turn it off or on. Turning it off will change the color of the FFT signal to orange instead of the green, blue, red colors .
I have added 2 custom stop loss types as well for experimentation:
1. VMA Filter stop loss to exit the trade if the VMA detects a market trend direction change matching the rules you have set. I have set this to off by default, but it is there so you can see what affect it may have on other tickers. It can increase the profit factor but usually at a cost of net profit.
2. The Aroon Filter stop loss with different lengths for the short or long direction. For the Aroon strategy (which is a trend change detector) it is considered bullish if the upper line (green in my code) is above 70 and the lower line (red in my code) is below 30 and the opposite for the bearish case. With this in mind, I have set it to filter by default only the extreme ends (99 and 1) to increase profit factor and net profit but I encourage you to try different settings and see how it affects things. Turning this off yields much higher net profit but at the cost of the profit factor and drawdown . To disable this just uncheck the 'Use Aroon Filter Long' (or short) and it will also hide the aroon graphics and crosses on the plot.
I will be adding more features in an attempt to lower the drawdown on this strategy but I hope you enjoy what I have so far!

What is Variable Moving Average (VMA)?
VMA (Variable Moving Average) is often mistakenly confused with the VIDYA (Volatility Index Dynamic Average) which is not strange since Tushar Chande took part in developing both. But the VMA was preceding the VIDYA and should not be mistaken for it.
What is Vertical Horizontal Filter (VHF)?
Vertical Horizontal Filter (VHF) was created by Adam White to identify trending and ranging markets. VHF measures the level of trend activity, similar to ADX in the Directional Movement System. Trend indicators can then be employed in trending markets and momentum indicators in ranging markets.
VMA, as is, is a "good candidate" for this type of filtering since it tends to produce prolonged periods of nearly horizontal values when the volatility of the market is low, so, when the step filtering is applied to it, the small slope changes that are happening as a results of the semi EMA calculation are filtered out, and signals are becoming more usable.

Green line of VMA = uptrend in price action
Red line of VMA = downtrend in price action
White line of VMA = indecision in price action
Green candles = uptrend and above VMA
Red candles = downtrend and below VMA
White candles = indecision or chop in price action
Green symbol below candle = all six timeframes are above the VMA
Red symbol above candle = all six timeframes are above the VMA
No symbol above or below candle = indecision amongst the six timeframes

Use VMA like other Moving Averages. This indicator lazybear's variable moving average has been upgraded and arranged in multi-time frame.
There are 5 variable moving averages whose periods can be changed.
Trend Direction Colors: GREEN COLOR = UpTrend, BLUE COLOR = Potential Congestion, RED COLOR = DownTrend.
If you want, you can use multi-time frame period breakouts
If you want, you can use moving average breakouts of different lengths in the same period.
In this way, you can use 5 moving moving averages in the same period or in different periods.
To activate, go to settings and activate the box to the left of the name. If you uncheck the box, the moving average will disappear.
