Trading alts vs USD is always risky business - you're gonna be betting on the price of BTC when you're buying.

I'm not confident with shorting it (I had already shorted from 0.058ish) but I am very confident about buying ETH at 0.039-0.041

Almost there! I reduced the size of my orders and martingale'd them. The drop has been fast and violent, not looking good at all.
