On May 25th, according to the official announcement, after the Terra community approved the proposal 11515, Bitfinex will support the new destruction tax (Tax Burn) policy for all on-chain transactions on the Terra Classic network, which will increase from the previous 0.2% to 0.5%. The new destruction tax is expected to take effect at block height 12902400 (about 22:00 UTC on May 23).
Bitfinex suspended the deposit and withdrawal of LUNA Classic (LUNA) and withdrawal of TerraUSD (TERRAUST) on Bitfinex around 19:00 UTC on May 23, and will resume after the new burn tax is implemented and the network is stable. Transactions will not be affected.
