VZ is one of my long-term entries for a recession protective play. I entered spot on the red uptrending line and have been adding bits on the bounces. The 8% dividend is protective at this level. The company fundamentally remains the same as it was before the 50% downtrend. There is some FUD with the lead cables but this should not matter in the long-run, they financially outperform comcast, at&t and t-mobile yet remain this undervalued.
