With this tool, you can travel back to Bitcoin’s very first price quote and retrace its entire history directly on your chart. Major events are plotted as labels or markers, providing context for how significant moments shaped Bitcoin’s journey.

Key Features
Comprehensive Event Coverage: From Bitcoin’s inception to the most recent updates.
Custom View: Change label colors, styles, sizes, and fonts using the script’s settings.

Replay History
Use Bar Replay Mode to step through Bitcoin’s price history and see events unfold in sequence.

At first, I created this script to simply retrace Bitcoin’s notable events history. With this new version, I wanted to go a bit more into detail about each event. Even though this isn’t a trading tool per se, it might be useful to longer-term investors looking to better understand and remember the events that had a significant impact on Bitcoin and the broader crypto industry in general.
Here are the latest updates:

1) EVENTS UPDATED: FROM EARLY DEC. 2024 TO MID FEB. 25
Here are the new significant events that impacted Bitcoin and the broader crypto market since the last script version:


2) LABELS TOOLTIPS
Starting from 2025, each label will have tooltips to further explain (and [source]) the events labeled on the chart, as you can see in the example below.
For the moment, the idea is not to go deep into analyses of each event but more to keep a track record of individual events affecting Bitcoin’s price and the broader crypto market.


3) SCRIPT’s MONTHLY UPDATES
From now on, I will try to publish new events on a monthly basis, potentially adding other improvements to the indicator along the way.
