Coeficiente J
The J coefficient can help us to analyze the divergences of any stochastic oscillator. The convergence of these lines is a sign of emerging trading opportunities, the J Coef allows you to further filter overbought and oversold thresholds if you only look at line J. The process would be as follows:
We consider a confirmed overbought zone when the value of J exceeds 85 points.
We consider a confirmed oversold zone when the value of J falls below 15 points.
Remember that no indicator is capable of providing accurate signals in 100% of cases. Every now and then, even the best of them fail, leaving you with losing trades. No matter what type of indicator you trust, don't forget to follow basic risk management and capital investment rules.
