Useful in case you use Average True Range to determine Shows Stop Loss and Take Profit price levels.
For example, if you want to put Stop Loss with a distance of 1.5xATR and Take Profit 2xATR for a long trade, put 1.5 as Lower Factor and 2 as Upper Factor. Lower and Upper prices will show price levels for SL and TP respectively.

Old one was just an oscillator, I changed a few things
1) It now paints the line green/orange
2) The trigger (green/red) is now based on a signal
3) The signal is basically isUp, but with some additional controls, e.g.
4) (new) There is an embedded stoploss. This is a growth/decay function that decays...
This indicator calculates the probability of touch for a stop loss...the probability that it will be triggered. Does it really calculate probability? Yes, it gives you an idea of the probability of being stopped out of a trade... but results are not guaranteed as this is a theoretical formula I developed on my own. Nevertheless, use this at your own...
Ever struggle to know how many shares you should be placing your order with? Risk is different for every person and every stock. This can help.
In the example above, I've added this indicator the the chart.
I then specified:
Risk Amount ($) = $500. (The max amount I'm willing to risk.)
Risk Source = (another indicator) Lower Limit 3 . (See Lower Limits ...
Set stop price and add-position price according to the cost and current ATR.
You may set an alert with the condition when the stock price crossing down the Stop Price.
stock price: $150
volatility multiple: 2
current ATR: $3
stop price = $150 - $3 * 2 = $144
add-position price = $150 + $3 * 2 / 2 = $153
Buy and hold investors may decide to use trailing stops to protect profits and capital from market crashes, especially during bull markets.
The purpose of this indicator is to hep investors to identify a location to place them. The indicator plots the highest high from 'x' bars ago. It then plots a trailing stop loss 'y' percent below that line.
This script creates a stop loss level and then moves it up in 5% increments as prices increase.
Basically, it checks to see if the lowest low of the last 7 days is above a certain level. If yes, it sets the stop at that level. It then checks for the next highest level and keeps going until the price is not above a level. Those variables are then set to the level...
The top band is ATR added to candle high (with given length and multiplication). The bottom one is analogic.
Created for finding initial stop loss for entry on low timeframes. Use band value at last major high/low to place the stop loss at.
It shows prices with acceptable risk and a reasonable margin for market volatility.
This is based on the Average True Range Trailing Stops Strategy by Sylvain Vervoort, coded on TV HPotter. I have added Bands to see potential short and long stop loss zones before the indicator signals to switch itself, also changed color on the main Trailing Stop based on whether it is short or long, added increased stop loss hunt protection by combining with my...
A Donchian Channel with additional zones at places where its range is smaller than a set amount of atr. Thus it kind of combines with Keltner Channel qualities. Purpose is to set a stop loss wide enough to avoid shaking out of a position. The example chart shows a Philips day chart, where I opened position on 16 juli at 37,50 and set the stop loss at low border...
This script is designed for those who want to use BitMex's trailing stop. It's not meant to be used as entry exits, but rather to get an idea of how wide the trailing stop needs to be. I suggest you backtest with different values. The script can also be integrated into an existing strategy which does give entry/exits to act as its stop loss.
