It's often tempting to jump in without volume when price breaks above a previous high. However, without buyers, how can it go higher. This stock is a good example, it broke above the previous high, but without volume and it's just trading sideways. As of now, it's looking more like another pullback than a breakout, but you never know, I've missed many trades waiting for volume that never came, but I've missed even more trades that I "wanted" to take based on the breakout that fell apart from lack of volume.

I almost entered today but couldn't get the price I wanted- we got volume on Friday so I'm good with an entry with average or better volume.
