If you basically short from the breakout point , around 1415 (14 Jan 08) and hold till 02 Mar 09, you would made approximately 52% profits (over 14 months)
But, if you adopt a different strategy of short during the selldown and buy during the retracement, you can make much more profits.

Total - 173%, that is more than 3 times profits if you just sell and hold !
