It is used to find the Index Top or Bottom which will define the buying and selling zone.
Example: As market Trades around 248 days in a year. So, 248day/2 = 124 Now Use 124 D SMA (Simple Moving Average).
If Ticker XYZ trading at 38704 and SMA 124 at 30443 than SRT will be 01.27. (Calculation=38704/30443=01.27 is our SRT)
Overbought Market above: 1.40
Bullish Market Range: 1.10-1.40
Uptrend start/resume above: 01.00
Normal Market Range: 0.9-1.10
Down trend start/resume below: 01.00
Bearish Market Range: 0.90-0.60
Oversold Market below/around: 0.60
