Inflation in the UK is still very high with no sign of slowing down even when the economy is grinding to a halt. BoE is expected to hike no matter what. The next rate announcement is on 3 August 2023 - a little less than a month away. Until BoE actually pause/cut, I do not think the market will be convinced to let go.
So I think between now and 3 August, price may continue to remain somewhere near 183.00 or may go higher. Volume shows that it may have decided to try higher, and so is the 'D'.

A bit busy, but here is an update - GB10Y is still above 4.63%
The short D @ 181.50 - closed out when price went back to 181.50 - no loss as it was a clean move.

Price just passed the test. We should be good.
This is a simple demonstration of how to play this game. We would need to know the WHEN/WHERE as well as the WHY. If we do not understand the WHY, then it is just another foolish game of 'catch the falling knife'.

It seems that BUYER is still in CONTROL. This is a case of rising from the dead as price happens to bounce from the limit of the Support Line. This is a sign of bullishness. We may BUY again but this requires a bit of experience. Look out for volume :)

This is a good example of the importance of knowing where the SUPPORT & RESISTANCE line is. If we know this, then we can know who is in CONTROL. In this case, BUYER is still in control, and until they cease to be in control, we BUY.

The trade is looking very GOOD. We are halfway to our target.
Learning the proper way to trade is essential.
But first you need COMMON SENSE - to be able to differentiate between what can work and what can't. All too often, we find many who have been in this game for years but still following the 'crowd'. Never go where the sheep flocks.
