Seasonal tendencies are working against this, paired with U$D pressures as those continue to build.
Beyond that, world production is in steady decline with visible crisis levels looming on the horizon (within a decade). This is mostly due to radically increased UV levels in coffee growing regions, paired with a rapidly declining global work force.

Fixing to go Short, again (previous entry ended up a scratch - $0), as the fundamentals - above - haven't changed at all except now a lot of the funds are now stuck Long here! (Potential sellers at the first opportunity.)

Everything (fundamentals; declining demand, supply overhang, etc) still working against this, at least through mid Autumn. Then (and only then!) will this have the potential to rally into the season.

This is one of those instances where I forgot to update this one (and didn't realize it);

This was a FLAT (for +38.70 points in net profit) off of that support area at 155.00, as well as switching to a LONG (since yesterday) off of that Stop Hunt, with ~180 as the near term Long target.
This however, remains a long term Short! (Thus, do not load up long here if unwilling to keep an eye on it.)

Our largest trade of the year (by far!) has reached it's target, for all practical purposes (including seasonal components now likely to emerge as a factor here).

FLAT
On this fairly strait -26% drop from entry (June) to exit we've cleared +198% Net on AUM! (Up +274% Net on AUM for the year - so far.)
Admittedly, we've been pushing this trade from the get-go with massive leverage, to maximum success, as it turns out.
One would also be well advised to start keeping an eye out for a near term Long Entry, at these levels.

(still) LONG and not in a hurry to jump off the Hokkaido Express here, just yet - since it's still moseying at C/2. BUT ... with Stops now tightened, time is being lavished on browsing the cabin layout for the various exit locations.
These two trades since Jul. have combined into a symphony of symmetries (minus any drama) for a rather respectable +48% Net => +80 pts. - so far -, making these 2 trades in Coffee easily our 2nd largest haul (in $ terms) for the entire year. 😎
