UNDERSTANDING IMPULSES & CORRECTIONS

Impulse moves are followed by corrective moves at all times. Corrective moves are points where the assets take a break from rallying just because the traders are taking profits or joining in expectation of changes in directions.

Corrections can be either reversal or continuation. The following is an expanding triangle as a continuation pattern.
