My previous prediction has been knocked out of kilter by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has shocked the European economy. Further shocks can be anticipated as Europe grapples with its determination to drastically reduce its imports of Russian oil and gas and braces itself for possible extension of the war zone. Since this security is not a straight measurement of the Euro economy, but of the relative worth of the Euro against the Dollar, I don't think trend analysis can tell us much about the immediate future.
