Simple support and resistance setup here shorting at resistance point in strong downtrend with alarmed stop above top.
Now GBP has broken down with impulse out of the parallel channel I think this is now a new and much steeper trend.

GBPUSD has now hit a longer term 1:1 and gone more overbought on the weekly RSI than any time since 2026, so i'll say thanks very much and cover my short positions here and see how things develop.
