Trade Journal: Long $SPCE - 2/10/2020

Forgot to make a trade journal yesterday for SPCE Long. I've been stalking SPCE during it's consolidation and a nice ascending triangle was developing on the 30m timeframe. SPCE a speculative stock that's been gaining momentum since it's bottom last year. I think SPCE has a lot more to run.

Entry - 20.31
Stop Loss - 19.49
Target - 25

SPCE had a great start today. Started the morning with a gap up but sold off, then reversed all in the first 30 minutes. This printed a strong hammer candlestick. SPCE stayed around the middle of it's trading range and finally popped into the close. This is looking very bullish.

SPCE looks strong on the 30m. Entry was within the consolidation right above the breakout zone.

Updated stop loss to 26.20 to make sure I lock in profits. This trade has been on fire so far and is looking like another TSLA. I will probably sell some on Tuesday if SPCE gaps up.

SPCE gapped up and ran just like TSLA. I am assuming the top is near. Took off 1/4th at 32.41 and another 1/4th at 37.66. Holding on to half with a stop loss below today's gap up at 30.00.

All out SPCE at 30.00 (Stop loss). Typical blowoff top pattern and sell off in the afternoon. Looking back, this trade was my biggest % gain yet and will probably make my year. Sold all for an average price 32.51 making this a 60% gain. SPCE ran twice my original R:R target. I'm so hyped right now... but it's time to move on to the next trade and keep my expectation within reality.
