$BB Blackberry Long to 21 short term, Moon Long-Term
My Jan. 18 play below for this ticker yielded 5 points of gains, but after some DD, I am now bullish long term on this company. Very surprised by what they offer now. This is now a fundamentals play.
- Very good technology, friends have and do work there and they have good things to say.
- Canada is a growing tech hub, trying to stop the brain drain to the US, BB growth will be fueled by Canadian talent who do not wish to emigrate.
- Transformation to a software company
Key products:
- QNX: embedded OS with a security focus
- IVY: cloud platform for vehicles (think EV and space market)
- AtHoc and SecuSUITE: secure communication system. Governments are still using Zoom and Teams, we need better
I think a pullback is inevitable because of the exuberance of this rally, but I don't mind adding at these prices. 7B Mcap only in this market, when it can grow to a 50B unicorn.
