For GBPAUD to continue going up, then AUDUSD must come down.

Again, I emphasize if you are going to long this pair , i.e. GBPAUD, then avoid shorting AUDUSD as that increases your risk exposure.
Nothing is for certain in the trading market. If you get it wrong, once is enough, you do not want a double whammy. If you can take care of the downside well, then the upside is easier to manage.
I think it is suffice to say most of us start with a certain amount of capital (limited resource) thus managing this capital well is crucial, especially in trading. It is not about getting you wrong that dishearten you but the frequency of it that would accelerates your "death" and declare you game over that tricks your mind that trading is dangerous, risky , scam, etc.
Too many traders after burning their portfolio a few times reached the conclusion that trading is too tough, they do not have the skills, luck or simply they move on to others. Please don't sell yourself short , at least not so fast.
Because it is when you and you and you out there that stays in the game, we can all make profits together! Trading may seems like a solo activity to many but to win, you need others to participate in it. So even if you lose, you want to lose intelligently, like mistakes of strategy, of wrong market analysis, etc and not unnecessary ones like irresponsible capital management.
Don't worry about the money, worry about how long you can stay in the game first , haha! After all, the ones who stay get to see the last card.......
